Here's darling Yogi, Smokey's brother!  Adorably windswept, Yogi sits contentedly on the dock with the color of Autumn grasses in the background.  What a beautiful day to be remembered!

Thank you SO much, Debra! It was such fun to paint Yogi and Smokey! Their portraits are so different yet each has something quite special about them. The setting here for Yogi is wonderful yet quite a bit of work with the woodgrain and slats. Thank you for your lovely comments, Jeanne

Awe he's so sweeeeeet. And the colors are so warm and inviting, Jeanne. I love my scruffy westie pup. You've captured the essence of what was in the photo and then made it sing. Rustic woods, elegant colors and details.

Oh, and thanks for adding a little eye detail. I can't wait to see the real paintings of both Yogi and Smokey.

Thank you SO much, Susan! It was truly a delight painting your darling little Yogi and Smokey. (Love their names!) Both portraits have something extra special in them with Smokey's happy grin in the dappled sunshine and Yogi's adorable windblown appearance while sitting contentedly on the dock in the warm, glowing light of the season. I have to get a pic up here for you that shows his eyes with the added detail. Such a charming duo! :0) Thank you for your lovely comments! Jeanne

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I always believe they come back to visit us in our dreams to let us know they're okay. Blessings, Jeanne
